Raize is a group of ten talented muso’s from the mornington peninsula, vic.
The group forms the musical side of the somers camp leadership team, and in mid ‘06 decided to use their abilities and their passion for creating a great sound for more than one week a year, and start a band. Raize perform original songs that aim to create an inspiring worship experience, that can be both loud and lively and reflective in equal measures, geared towards the youth of today. Apart from having a lot of fun, raize plays music that offers a way to connect with god for those who are making the first tentative steps on their faith journey as well as those who are more comfortable in their personal relationship with god.
‘dawn’ is the first full band recording produced and expands the band’s mission to enthuse & inspire young people through music. watch out for the full album release in ‘09.
